About us

Racing sailors who live on the water

Before we were technicians, we were racing sailors. We spend the week on board — training, racing and delivering boats between marinas. We know what it means when a winch jams mid-manoeuvre, or when a dirty hull costs you knots.

So we see problems up close, and we fix them the way we’d want our own boat fixed: properly, on time, and with a clear explanation of what we found.

One Stop Marine was born and is headquartered in Australia, led by Mitch White, as a one-stop service for boats. Now we’re bringing that way of working to Sotogrande, the Strait of Gibraltar and the Bay of Cádiz.

FAQ

What people ask us most

How often should a boat’s hull be cleaned?

It depends on the water, the temperature and how much you sail. Around the Strait and the Bay of Cádiz, a boat kept afloat usually needs a below-the-waterline clean every few months in summer, and less often in winter. We’ll check it and tell you when it’s due.

How often does a boat need antifouling?

Usually once a year, during the annual haul-out. If the boat sails little or you use a long-life antifouling, it can last longer. We’ll assess it during the inspection.

Do you clean hulls with the boat in the water?

Yes. Our divers clean the hull, propeller and shaft with the boat afloat, so you gain speed without a haul-out. We can also do it during a haul-out together with the antifouling.

What does the maintenance plan include?

A diver hull clean every month, a weekly check of the boat, a weekly engine start and an extra check whenever there is a storm. Contact us and we’ll quote you based on your boat.

Can you help me find crew for a regatta?

Yes. We race ourselves and know the local fleet. Tell us the regatta, your boat and the positions you need, and we’ll put the crew together.

Do you deliver boats between marinas?

Yes. We deliver boats under sail or power with an experienced crew, and we can also arrange cranes and road transport when needed.

How do I get a quote?
